The story

The lens came second.

I am from Gdansk, and I have spent half my life moving between Poland and England. Liverpool is where I settled in 2023 — another port city, with its own history and its own kind of people. I have never been good at sitting still. Given the choice, I will always take the drive somewhere new. That restlessness is what set all of this in motion.

The creative side started before I ever owned a camera. I wanted more than the work in front of me, so I talked my way into a local editorial office and began covering music, culture and whatever the city was doing. It taught me the thing that still sits underneath everything I do: find the point of a story before you try to tell it.

The camera came after. By 2014 photography had become the main craft, and over the years I worked across a wide range of it, from portraits and commercial work to automotive and campaigns. But I come from a place where nothing is handed to you. If I wanted something, I had to work it out and usually build it myself. So I did. I taught myself to design and code websites and run what sits behind them. I added copy, brand, graphics and digital marketing along the way, sometimes for clients, sometimes for projects where there was simply nobody else to do it.

I have also seen business from every angle. I have worked kitchens and cleaned floors, sat on reception and handled customer service, and held a COO role where I helped set a company's direction and grow its revenue. That range matters more than it might sound. It showed me how a business runs from the ground up and from the top down, how it treats the people who pay it, where it quietly loses attention, and why strong work so often goes unseen.

That last part is what stayed with me. The work I have been proudest of was never only the photograph. It was the whole thing holding together: the picture, the message, the way a business shows itself to the people it wants to reach. That is the space I work in now. Photography and visual work are a part of it, not all of it.

I take on a small number of businesses at a time, on purpose. One person, one standard, from the first conversation to the final report. No layers, no passing you to someone else, no part of it I have not done myself.

How I work / the principles

Strategy first
Every shoot, post and campaign ties back to a clear goal. Pretty isn't the point. Useful is. I start with what the work needs to do before I touch how it looks.

Senior, hands-on
You work with me directly. No account managers, no juniors learning on your budget. The person planning the work is the person doing it.

A small number of clients, on purpose
I take on a handful of businesses at a time, not a queue. It's the only way to give each one real attention and keep the standard where it needs to be.

These usually start with content and grow from there. Most clients come for one thing and stay for the whole picture.

Portrait, commercial, automotive, events. Full creative direction and retouching — content built to be used, not just admired.
